Ipomoea purpurea 'Blauer Himmel' is early flowering with large blue flowers of 6 to 8 cm in diameter.

Ipomoea tricolor is very suitable for greening balconies, walls, trellis obelisks, patios and fences. The plant needs a climbing aid in the form of thin struts or vertically stretched wires.

A culture in the bucket or balcony box is also possible. State winches are very robust and easy-care, heat-loving creepers. They grow quickly and bloom profusely - an attractive solution for the inexpensive greening of trellises, trellis elements and fences. You should pre-cultivate morning glory in seed trays or pots in the greenhouse or on the windowsill. Direct sowing outdoors is possible, but not recommended.
