Clematis bicolor "Piilu". Clematis 'Piilu' is a wonderful, abundantly flowering, Estonian variety. The two-colored large flowers are doubles after opening, later becoming simple. Height 200-250 cm. Pink flowering. The middle of the petals is decorated with a dark stripe. Flowering: June-August. Plant this variety in an open area or in the shade of large trees. This vine looks very bright due to its large, fully open flowers, which are almost completely covered at the top of the flowering. In the autumn, the shoots of clematis can be bent to the ground and protected lightly, for example with conifers.

 If the winter frosts do not allow such beauty to grow in the country, it is possible to plant the 'Piilu' variety in a flowerpot, tub and put it indoors for the winter. Clematis require regular pruning to grow lush and bloom profusely. 'Piilu' belongs to the Patens group.

The distance between the plants is 60 cm.

Clematis can  be stored at home and kept in a cool and bright place before planting outdoors.
